My love for Breath-work explained
In everything that I do, I keep coming back to working with the breath and with breathwork practices. So I wanted to dive a little deeper and share a bit more about what your breath actually can do for you. I created a video with my top 5 reasons and today I explain reason number 4

Why I love breathwork, reason number 4
It will release unconscious blockages and stress that you have held and kept in your own body. Helping you to feel stronger, healthier and happier because you find a way to release that stress.
When we don't want to feel, we stop breathing and hold our breath. Holding your breath will create tension in your diaphragm and in all the other muscles that accompany your breathing. Thereby creating muscle tension and also tension in the fascia (the soft tissue) of your body.
The more tension you keep in your muscles and fascia, the more numb you feel.
The stronger the emotional layer of protection around your feelings you will create inside yourself.
The less the blood and energy can flow true your body.
The less pleasure you can feel inside yourself.
Opening your breath will allow you to feel more.
For instance, in order to laugh you need to be able to breathe in and out quickly.
With opening your breath, you also open up your pelvic floor. Giving space and relaxation in your pelvic floor muscles, thereby creating a wider range of subtle sensations in your pelvic floor area.
Creating more softness, opening & a greater potential for pleasure(for both sexes!)
And this is just the start of all that you can release and create via breath-work.
Stuck emotions, old beliefs that no longer serve you, anger, frustration, sadness, grief. The breathwork can be a way to release it all.
And by releasing what no longer serves you, you create new space.
Space for things you want to call in.
Space for love, for relaxation, softness, pleasure, laughter, bliss!!
